Walbon and Co Transportation Services Employment Application Process

Before you submit our application, please read Our Drivers Qualifications.

Required Qualifications For Walbon Drivers

Must be at least 23 years of age.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year of verifiable over-the-road experience.
Must have a driving record acceptable to Walbon and our insurer.
No DUI convictions in the past three (3) years.
Must Pass Walbon’s road test, DOT drug screening, and be Medically Qualified.
No chargeable accidents in the past three (3) years.
No felonies in the past 5 years.
No more than 3 jobs in 3 years, not including layoffs
No license suspension in the past three (3) years.
No convictions of reckless, careless, leaving the scene of an accident, operating a motor vehicle without permission or while under suspension or revocation, evading, fleeing or eluding a police officer
Must have a current valid CDL from the state you reside in.
Must have a mailing address and maintain a working telephone.

Ten (10) Years Employment History:

Reference for your last ten (3) consecutive years of employment. This must include any periods of unemployment as well as any non-driving related jobs, school or military service. All CDL driving jobs held in the past ten (10) years must be accounted for.

Experience: Must be Verifiable:

Verifiable means you must have a correct phone number included and that phone number must be able to put us in contact with someone who can verify your experience as a CDL driver. An “Out of Business” reference is of no value unless you supply us with tax records or other legal documents showing proof of employment.

Our application must be filled out by the applicant and in ink. All information must be filled out completely and accurately. Upon review and verification of employment record, application and all supplements will be forwarded to our Minnesota location for final approval.

Immediately below is the Safety performance work history records request form to be filled out by your employer. Please have your employer fill out the PDF file with the proper information and mail or fax it to Walbon at the address or number below, you are interested in working at, at the bottom of this page. Once received, they will be contacted by Walbon.
